GAEA Partners with Bethesda Softworks to Bring The Elder Scrolls: Legends to China

17 Jul 2018

GAEA Technologies Ltd. and Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced a collaboration to bring The Elder Scrolls®: Legends to China. GAEA will be the exclusive publisher and localization developer of the game for greater China regions.

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is an award-winning free-to-play strategy card game. Journey through unique Elder Scrolls stories, conquer your enemies, and join the fun in this easy-to-pick-up, hard-to-put-down adventure. Whether you have 10 minutes or five hours, experience an Elder Scrolls adventure that keeps on growing.

Legends has something for every type of player, from expansive solo content to competitive play. Experience stories rich in The Elder Scrolls lore or challenge yourself against other players in ranked play or competitive Arena. Earn rewards, customize your Collection, and show off your personality with cosmetic card backs and unique titles to flaunt your victories and achievements to friends and foes alike.

This collaboration means that Legends will be brought to fans in China for the first time. The Elder Scrolls series have accompanied Chinese players for over 24 years, and Legends has caught Chinese fans’ attention since it was first announced.

“It’s a pleasure to be the exclusive publisher and introduce this game to all of the Chinese players,” said Yanzhi Wang, CEO and founder of GAEA. “Competitive card games will become an important genre for China game development industry. It’s also a key strategic plan for GAEA Technologies in the next 2 years. Legends is an excellent game and we are looking forward to its release.”

“We are excited to be working with Gaea to bring Legends to the Greater China region,” says Michael Chiang, General Manager of ZeniMax Asia Pacific. “Our partnership will combine Gaea’s publishing expertise and Bethesda’s brands and development experience to deliver an innovative and strategic card game experience to our fans.”

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is expected to be released soon. Fans and players are welcome to follow news and updates through GAEA Weibo account @盖娅互娱 and Wechat OA (gaeamobile).
